As I think back to my youth, I think of simplicity and fun. Growing up with little-to-no worries; having a good time. There was quality entertainment, music and television. The Cosby Show, Different World, and Fresh Prince were great shows that not only entertained but taught life lessons. (Name some music from the times). Any movie from Spike Lee could be seen and valued for both entertainment and its message. And a party was a party; the only worry was whether you were going to be out-danced by your partner on the dance floor. Well, we’re taking it back with the True School House Party, where we will take an audio and visual trip through a great era in entertainment: 1980 – 1995. Hosted by Grammy-winning producer 9th Wonder and famed rap artist and radio personality Monie Love. So leave your worries at home and come to The House Party, June 1, 2007 @ Cinespace.
