Heat: 88 Keys - The Death of Adam

blog-88.jpg

Who cares about auto tune, everyone is doing it now, it is fresh, but I figured I heard it all, until I heard an album where a voice is muffled throughout the record.  88 Keys touches genius with his new album The Death of Adam.  An album that is vocally and sonically appealing, and even targets one’s intellect, not through a scholarly topic but the story of a man who meet his demise by a woman, more specifically her P*****.  The album takes us on the full journey, narrated by gossip, beginning with the song Morning Wood and Ending with Another Victim.  The album features Kanye West, Kid Cudi, J*Davey, Redman, Bilal, Phonte of Little Brother, and alternative rock group Shitake Monkey. Far from a new comer, 88-Keys has left his mark on many classic albums from Black Star to Musiq.  Listen close to the story so history doesn’t repeat its self.
